Very happy so far with the results. The only issue we had is there was no information in the instructions on how to do larger countertops were you have to use more than one kit. We looked over the directions and watched the video. It does mention if you have larger areas to work in smaller sections but didn't show in the video how we should do that. You apply the base and add the chips which go everywhere. How are you supposed to work in smaller sections. We lucked out that after sanding the countertops we had enough product to go over it a second time, we had some thin spots because we were afraid the product would be to dry with having to roll it all of it at once. Information was not their on how to work in smaller sections. On the upside going over it a second time made it thicker and it came out great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pleasantly impressed with the outcome of this product/project. I will say this isn’t something I have ever attempted before so it came with some minor bumps in the process, but as a diy enthusiast I often easily overcome those, and it was mostly user error on my part. We just redid our countertops on the other side of our kitchen so this kit was perfect for upgrading this countertop to match. The black was not at all a deep black but it matches our other countertops so I am happy with it. The odor was not at all bad, and it dried extremely fast! I will say to make sure to clean your countertops or whatever you are covering accordingly and do the test area to ensure if you need to sand it to prevent any peeling or issues with adherence.

Nice kit with flaw
Reviewed on www.walmart.com·zangoochi
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice marble kit that can turn any old counter into a new top. Let's start with the box. Everything you need comes in the box in terms of material. It's sturdy and compact so doesn't take up a whole lot of space. The instructions are also clear and precise. \n\nSo what is the flaw? Well, the marble look comes from manually creating veins. As I am no artist, this was harder than it looked. I feel a few templates could have helped with this. It was hard figuring out if you did too many or not enough or accidentally using too much.\n\nOverall, I am impressed with the product and anyone doing DIY would be happy. Just know it's not as easy as the videos seam.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well influenster sent this to me right before the holidays. I haven't been able to shut my kitchen down for 7 days to apply the product. I have used the rustoleum linoleum paint kit before and this is very similar. I loved my results on the floor paint, went from dark brown to light grey very easily. For the countertop kit, You start with a heavy clean on the surface, then you have a base coat that is your color and you apply 2 coats. This drys a minimum of 4 hrs before applying the top coat. There is a small bottle of vein paint that you would free hand using an artist brush prior to the top coat. I give this kit 4 stars because it's not a food safe surface.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start off with, I want to mention it's essentially just glosses and paint. It's also very hard to make it look as pictured! These are great for a last option, truly! But they are very lengthy, messy and time consuming! I'd say it's a great affordable option but at the same time it takes a few days to finish the product. Our counters are old and we still didn't love the finishing product after using these. It's okay. I just won't rate it five stars simply because of the mess it makes and having to cover our whole kitchen in plastic! Also the instructions are lengthy haha.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old lamented countertop was warn and outdated and was due for a touch up. Kit includes everything you need to make your countertops look refreshed. Rust oleum gives you a cleaner to wipe all of the dirt and oil to help with adhesion. Next you put down the base coat that can be tinted at a local hardware store if you want something other than black. Dry time was quick, around two hours. Added a second base then let dry and added two layers of top coat in between drying. Product looks good but not perfect. Time will tell if it will hold up and not flake or chip.

This was a much easier...
Reviewed on www.walmart.com·Kelly
This was a much easier process than I had anticipated. My laminate counter top was so outdated and this has really brought new life into my kitchen. They advise to do a test area of 3x3" and allow it 12 hours to cure. Mine adhered well, but to play it safe, I did do a light hand sand with 70 grit paper, you could use a hand sander if you have one (and adequate ventilation). From there cleaned off the dust and sprayed it down with Krud Kutter degreaser and another go with mineral spirits and a microfiber rag just to be sure that I start with a super clean surface. \n\nOnce I started painting it went really quickly. Because I did a near white gray, I did use 2 coats, waiting 2 hours in between. From there, you wait 4 hours to do the satin coat. I again waited 2 hours and did a second coat. I opted to let cure 6 days (min is 3, 7 is ideal). \n\nKeep in mind this is satin, so if you're looking for a shiny top, you will not be happy with this result as the sheen is minimal, its more eggshell. Also, mine did come through a bit textured, not super smooth, so perhaps I could have sanded more, but I actually really like it that way so I do not mind.

This gave a good enough result to be able to hold off having a new countertop installed for a few years. I sanded and used deglosser to prep. Don't be in a hurry and have good ventilation. It takes a long time to dry and smells pretty bad. We moved our parakeets into a back room for 3 days. The instructions say you can use a foam roller or brush. I used a foam pad that started disintegrating and leaving bits of foam in the paint. A mess to clean up and had to start over. Still, after 3 days, the counter looked much better . It was worth it.

This part seems to be very complex to not have it looking like water color painting. If you decide quick enough, you can wipe it off if you dont like it, like within a minute. Best to have someone woth patience, a steady hand and some art skills. Its still not perfect but from afar it looks OK. The 2n...

New Look for Laminate

This countertop kit is good for a fresh update of laminate countertops. I used it in my kitchen. I was a little disappointed that it took 4 coats of the base coat to completely cover my countertops which measure a little less than 40 square feet. So I had to dip into the second kit that was sent. This made the process significantly longer as I waited the recommended 4 hours between coats as stated on the paint can. (There were no paper directions in the kit.) I will say that there was no problem...

But if you have the patience to do tiny grey veins for hours and have the patience to do so these turn out beautiful. They hold up well.

I had high hopes, but man this didn't turn out as i had hoped. I had a terrible orange Countertop in my basement. I figured this would be the perfect update. I was wrong. Granted, it's not orange but it's not good. The white primer goes on very thick which was nice but it constantly showed lines. It said to apply 2 coats and i ended up having to apply 4 to get rid of the lines. It is extremely white so i forewarn you. After the base coat, you apply the grey and do the veining and man did it go down hill from there. I would have to say, for it to look good, you better be Bob Ross. The online video made it look so easy, but for sure wasnt. Maybe its just me, but it was a waste if time. I would never use it in my kitchen, despite my current Countertop being extremely dates. The finish coat went on easy, but i simply cannot recommend this product unless you are extremely artistic.

I am currently on the first step and had enough to do my entire counter top and my smaller bathroom counter. I have an olfer home and hate my counters but also don't want to spend a fortune on replacing perfectly good counters. This is a great option for a change. It is pretty easy to apply. I really enjoyed that there was no prep work. Some paint systems make you scrub over and over with a special cleaner. I just made sure the counters were wiped down and then went to step one. It was not messy. We are going to do step 2 once the step one application has dried. I'm super excited to see how the black satin turns out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking to repaint my countertop a white and this was beautiful! You are provided a heavy duty cleaning liquid to remove debris and anything that can make the layer of paint you’re about to add splotchy or bumpy. The first white coat leaves a slightly tinted white coating and, once that dries for about two hours, you. can apply a second coating to make it opaque. You’re also given a bit of tinted black/gray paint that you can apply with a brush to make a marble pattern design, which I highly suggest considering! Overall, I am rightfully impressed and just waiting for everything to dry now. I love this product so much and cannot recommend it enough.
